Independence Day

M: A very special day, so we are celebrating with some sour milk.
Y: We wish to congratulate Finland for 101 years of independence.
M: Herra Marlin toivottaa erityisen hyvää itsenäisyyspäivää!

Sleeping beauties

Y: Well, we've been very active today. I was allowed to train for the first time for weeks!
M: Mr. Marlin has been busy as well, had three long naps during the day.
Y: I think we deserve a good night's sleep.
M; And a good breakfast!

Over the hills

Y: Went to see my doctor the other day, she told me I can go running and training again.
M: No she did not, she said you can go outside and walk as the elderly do, slowly and with caution.
Y: But you ran like a maddog yesterday.
M: Yes I did, saw two squirrels making baby squirrels. I put an immediate end to that stuff!

Annoyed

M: Mr. Marlin got annoyed with the human man.
Y: Me too, I hate that jacket.
M: Mr Marlin being annoyed had nothing to do with the jacket. But I don't remember the reason.
Y: Probably related to food, then.

Hamming away

Y: We've had very fruitful discussions today.
M: Yes we did, we discussed the choice between Christmas ham and turkey.
Y: We decided to have both, and barbecue chicken.
M. In fact, we decided to have six each.

Doctor's orders

Y: I contacted the doctor today, good news!
M: They ordered a lot of rest and chicken for both of us?
Y: No! I was given a permission to train a little. And to eat a lot of chicken. Doctor's orders, you know.
M: Must be a fake doctor. A real doctor would not forget Mr. Marlin's need for chicken.

You can leave your nap on

Y: I'm still resting.
M: She's allowed to sleep all day long.
Y: You sleep all day long every day.
M: I'm just taking my beauty nap.

Sporty Spice

M: I have been really sporty these days.
Y: I'm bored! I'm B-O-R-E-D!
M: Sister still cannot go out training.
Y: Did I mention that I'm pretty bored to rest inside?

Doubling

Y: Today I received a double penalty - not only do I have to just rest, but I was also taken to shower.
M: Why does she get all the service and the massage?
Y: Maybe it's all good for me after all.
M: I am resting now, I suggest you do the same.

Calling in sick

M: Sister has fallen ill, has problems with her back.
Y: I went to the doctor, she said I cannot train for at least one week.

Service call

Y: We went to grandhumans' place for a few days.
M: Fairly poor service, I must say. I had to ask many times for a lift down the stairs.
Y: My training partner was ill, so I couldn't follow my training schedule.

Y: You have no idea either.
M. You just disturb everyone in the neighbourhood.
Y: Sigh... It's hard to be the only athlete in the house.

Hunting high and low

Y: I had a good hunt today.
M: A real wild hunter you are.
Y: The scenery changed quite rapidly for the squirrel.
M: It climbed the tree. I tried to follow, but my quality legs are a little bit too short for that.
